OASA to Host U14 Div 1 Provincials
The OASA will host the Under 14 Division 1 Provincial Tournament during the weekend of 22 - 24 August 2008. Team coaches may pick up their Soccer NB packages from their respective Division admin tents. See map for location. The admin tents will be staffed as of 4:30 PM on Friday 22 Aug 08. Please access the links below to view the Girls' and Boys' schedules as well as a map of Oromocto that highlights the field locations.

West Region Soccer Falls Skills Training Program 8 - 12 year olds
West Region Soccer and UNB V-Reds have joined in partnership and will run the West Region Soccer Skills Training Program for 8 - 12 year olds. The program will run every Wednesdays 4.00 PM - 5.00 PM in September - October starting on the 10th September on the UNB Chapman Turf Field. The Registration Form and details of the program is also available on the West Region soccer website http://www.westregionsoccernb.org/.
SHE SHOOTS SHE SCORES
The Western Region Soccer Association has launched a new publication aimed at increasing awareness of soccer as a growing sport for female athletes. The OASA supports this initiative and will post their newsletters on our website. Fields
The main soccer field beside OHS is scheduled for maintenance this summer and will be used as a mini soccer field. In its place the Town of Oromocto has allowed us to us the Football field. Please visit the Field Map section of the website to ensure you know which field you are scheduled to play on.
Field Closures
For those in Under 12 and younger leagues, the Town of Oromocto will determine whether or not the fields are open. For information please call 357-4433. For those in Under 14 or Under 16/18 - the FDSA will determine whether or not the fields are open for league play. For information please call 460-2881 or visit FDSA.Org
Board of Directors
The OASA Board of Directors desperately needs more volunteers! The winter program was cancelled due to a lack of Directors and the summer season is in jeopardy for the same reason. If you have an interest in the sport and have a few hours per week to dedicate to this endeavour we would love to hear from you. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors please email the Association President.
